Dave is the Senior Pastor of our Sage Avenue Family.
He previously served three very unique Southern Baptist Churches in our convention for the past 20 years. Dave did his graduate work at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida earning a BA in Business Management. He did his post-graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas receiving a Master of Divinity in 1985.
Pastor Dave has a heart for reaching young families for Christ. He enjoys teaching God's Word while helping people understand how to live it out in their lives. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and shooting.

John Sorrell is a student at the University of Mobile majoring in Christian worship with a minor in music studies. John will be leading our students in praise and worship. John is a gifted guitarist, and enjoys singing, and leading students. John comes from Ashville, AL.
Quintell Hill is also a student at the University of Mobile majoring in religious Christian studies. Quintell will be teaching our students from God’s Word. He enjoys playing basketball/coaching, reading, and listening to Christian music. He teaches a dorm Bible study and is Vice President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the University.
Quintell comes from Hueytown, AL.

Becky has been serving at Sage for 10 years. She has been a member of Sage for 35 years. Becky and her husband Jim, have been married for 36 years, a daughter, Tammy, who is married to John Hilyer and they have two children, Lesly & Layne.

Elaine is our part time receptionist and general secretary, who has been serving here at Sage Avenue Baptist 3 years. Elaine has been a member of Sage for 30 years. Elaine and her husband, Joe have been married for 30 years and have two wonderful daughters, Heather and Lindsey.
